I've been cleaning out boxes and found the first round of engagement pictures we had taken by my Aunt Caron at Chautauqua Park in Boulder. We look a lot different now, wow...it's amazing what 3 years of marriage brings.
These pictures were taken a couple of weeks ago when we got our snow storm. Micah was finally able to venture of into the snow for the first time. He was too little last year, so I was very excited to watch him discover the world of snow. He seemed to enjoy it a lot!
Micah loves to explore the outdoors. Marty's backyard is finally at a middle point where he can venture out without getting tangled in something. (we hope to have it nice and beautiful for her by summer) Anyway, I thought it would be fun to follow him around and snap away. It was a fun afternoon.
Trunk or Treating in the Church parking lot Micah was really excited about his candy, he was laughing and dancing in the car. Micah and his captured pirate wife Micah walking around the cake walk..he trends his own path. Mommy and little pirate.
Back in October Take A Break had its ground breaking of their soon to be newly built facility. For those that are confused, I work at Take A Break. It is a child care center and it has been around for over 20 years. In fact, I grew up knowing the owner as she was my mom's friend and a member of our church. I also used to hang out there after school, so in a way I was taken care of by some of the people I work with, namely D'Arla (the owner) and Bertha (longest employed). The center we are currently in is getting old and doesn't really provide for the necessities we require. After a two year process, they have finally been able to work out all the kinks and go through all the tiring hoops, our new building will be complete within nine months of the starting date. So sometime next July. These are the pictures I took...naturally they are of Micah and some of the kids I take care of.
Micah is standing next to Wyatt...he is one of my favorite boys in the preschool. The Golden shovels used to break the ground...how fun.

Micah loves playing outside, so I thought I'd take advantage of his curiosity. I got a lot of really cute pictures...I load them later. But here is a small taste. We were all pirates this year. What a blast! Nothing better than fall leaves on the ground. This was taken at my parents house in Frederick.
Our little Bubba has mastered climbing onto tables, not just coffee tables but large tables, he pulls out the chair to climb on top of it, then manages to get right up onto what is our desk-just where the big computer happens to be. One of his favorite toys...well if we'd let him!
Micah has become fond of apples, especially the ones Mommy is eating. But I'm sure glad he's eating healthy foods!
I love this shoot, those eyes are piercingly beautiful!
I thought this was a adorable picture of Micah and Micah Jr. loving on each other. The facial expression says it all!
Micah Jr. gets a kick out of torturing the dog...well I wouldn't exactly call it torture, he just loves to play with him the only way a 14 month old does...by riding him!
