So much has happened in the last 4 months that it is hard to keep up with blogging about it! Over the summer Micah and I finished off another semester successfully. It was nice to have another one out of the way. We have since started another semester; second to last! We are almost done! Graduation May 2012 in in the countdown.
We blessed Mairead and remembered to take pictures of the wonderful men that participated (Grant and Jim we missed you!) Present in the circle were Micah (obviously-he blessed her-such a great dad!) My Dad, John Anson, and my Uncle David Adamson. We also had the bishopric in the circle. It was beautiful, Mari stayed asleep for Micah-so that made it a lot easier.
Micah Jr. is lovin' being a big brother. Every moment he gets he is kissing and hugging on Mairead. He gets a smile out of her the majority of the time. When shes has had enough she is not shy about letting us know-it often ends up with Micah is the naughty point because he won't stop. Below is a picture of the two of them in her bed, he'll climb in there and give her loves, and sometimes he'll make her giggle by jumping in the bed. He is very careful not to land on her. She loves it-I'll have to take a video!
He loves to have her sit with him-here they are watching a cartoon-probably one of our Disney movies.
PHOTO SHOOT! WE are trying our hand at photography-soon to be followed by a better camera.
Micah loves to help me bake-when it is something tasty! Here he is helping me make banana bread-ingredients and scooping it out were his helping jobs. I sent some pics on my phone to relatives, one response was "Get him out of the kitchen!" (courtesy of Grant)-My reply "Think of it as making a mess and getting dirty rather than baking!" - "Alright, that works. We already know he's a manly man." Which if you haven't seen Micah Jr in action-he is 200% boy.
Mairead has the most beautiful big blue-ish gray eyes right now. She is going to be a knock out when she is older!
Micah loves How to Train Your Dragon (the movie) and we have been able to find most of the dragons at Wal-Mart on clearance (its the best way to shop). He owns, Toothless the Night Fury, Monstrous Nightmare, and Red Death along with three gronkles (one of which that has gone MIA in the front yard here at Nana's-search parties have commenced on multiple occasions and still no sign of the missing gronkle)
Gotta love that smile!
