Baby Conversations

Mr. Micah has had a lot to tell us lately. He is gravely concerned about the current affairs of the world and wishes to address us about them.

Too cute for words.

Oh So Loveable

I don't think I'll ever get over the cuteness of Micah's grins, the smiles and the "Grump-A-Lump-A-Gus" faces. He is so very animated that we can't help but laugh when he changes from look to look. Babies are sure entertaining.

We are on our last week at home together. Next Monday it's back to work. I'm not eager to get back but I do miss the kids I've worked with. (For those of you who don't know, I work at a child care center)

Mama and Baby

Words cannot express the joy I feel being home with my baby boy. I just love watching him smile and listening to him babble. Between my school work and him there is never a dull moment. How cute is that smile?!

It's amazing to see Micah Jr. smile, it's enough to warm the heart!

A Boy and his Daddy

Another reason to love the man in my life, or should I say men. Micah Jr. is creeping up on being 6 weeks this Wednesday, with that said he is developing right on "schedule" with his social smiling, especially when he sees his Dad. As Micah takes to Jr. we see a huge grin grow across his face and he starts to coo in response. We are smitten! These two are quite the pair.

Random Thought For The Day

Moisture is the essence of wetness, and wetness is the essence of beauty.

Our Baby Boy is one month old now. Amazing how time slips by us. I find it interesting that over my last 6 weeks of maternity leave, my days are filled with just me and Micah Jr. and they go by so fast, we're not even doing anything! But when I was at worked the week dragged on (or so it would see) forever. Well, I'll be back soon enough, September 29. Right now I'm back at school, I am taking 3 courses, Spanish 211 (my last semester of the doggoned language), Humanities 123 and Literature 115. I've only had one class period of Literature (its a Friday class) but I think it is by far my favorite, mostly because I enjoy the art of Literature and it's many forms. Baby Micah has been cooing a lot more lately and has begun over this last week or two to smile at me and his dad. We get a kick out of his grins and especially his grumpy faces. We have coined the term grump-a-lump-agus and refer to it when he hits us with a series of these looks.
The picture of Micah with Dad is a prime example of what we call a Grump-A-Lump-Agus Face
