Our trip to Colorado Springs
Our trip to Colorado Srpings was fun but bumpy. Micah Jr wasn't in the best of moods most of the time, but we got a couple smiles out of him eventually. Enjoy the pictures!
As you can see in the clouds it was a bit over cast, made for a very cool and relaxing day!

Micah's Birthday Party
We had a great time at the Park for Micah's first birthday party. He got a kick out of running around by himself with his aunts following him around. He got many cool gifts from his family.
Grandma Cris and Aunt Faith
Micah's Oreo Goatee. He wasn't up for any sort of cake, but he loved his Oreo's.
Aunt Stacy, cousins Phoebe and Renee came to visit from Texas. Renee is four months younger but was very lively with Micah.
Unfortunately she didn't quite appreciate his methods of play.
Poor Renee had to endure a lot when it came to Micah trying to interact with her. Once she got so fed up that she grabbed his head with both hands and bit him. It wasn't hard enough to leave any marks.
My Popcorn Helper
He sure likes to get his hands dirty and feel the textures of anything he can get his hands on!
At least some of it ended up in his mouth.

Happy 1st Birthday Micah Jr!

Our Baby Boy has turned one! It is hard to believe that it has been a year already, but what an amazing journey it has been thus far. It has been a blessing having Micah Jr in our lives. We are so grateful for the way he has been blessed with health and to see him develop like he should. I can' t get over how cute it is to watch him discover the world around him and to learn how to express himself in various manners. We have come to the conclusion that his first word is Mom, he has been saying it since birth. I know what you're thinking, yeah right! But it was his hungry cry, so he has been able to at least make the sound Ma. as he got a little older when ever he got hurt he would cry out Ma Ma ma ma ma. He has also said Dad, Dog, Baba, Go, and is working on up, off, down and done. He's been walking full force now for the last two weeks and now that he realizes what he can do, he is all about walking every where by him self. He'll hold your hand for a little but he is very adamant about doing it himself. Oh we are in for it!
Getting ready to sing. We do have a video that I will try to get posted, he loved having everyone sing to him, he was ginning the whole time.
Micah decided on his own that it was time for presents. There was a step stool by the table that he figured out how to step onto. He grabbed both his presents and knocked them to the floor and began opening them. The one in his hand was left to the wayside once he discovered his bigger toy. This one got half way opened, it was Little Nemo and the adventures is Slumber land.
On to the bigger one. He did very well opening it on his own. Once I took it out of the box...
it was all about the phone!

Our Walking Boy
As per the last post Micah has been working on walking...well he has come a long way from just a couple of steps. He is walking around everywhere and is having a blast. Here are some pictures of his steps:
