A New Year and I'm already Behind!
I am amazed that the year is 2010 and that Micah Jr will soon be 2. The adage "Time flies when your having fun" is certainly true. Micah and I are both still in school. We are in our second semester at CU Denver. It has been challenging at times, but we always manage to get through it. Micah Jr is growing fast and is starting to express himself in a number of ways. I am very confident that once his sounds turn into more words we will get an ear full. I will post the pictures from the last three months soon and will strive to keep this blog updated. Thanks for dropping by!

Take A Break Ground Breaking
Back in October Take A Break had its ground breaking of their soon to be newly built facility. For those that are confused, I work at Take A Break. It is a child care center and it has been around for over 20 years. In fact, I grew up knowing the owner as she was my mom's friend and a member of our church. I also used to hang out there after school, so in a way I was taken care of by some of the people I work with, namely D'Arla (the owner) and Bertha (longest employed). The center we are currently in is getting old and doesn't really provide for the necessities we require. After a two year process, they have finally been able to work out all the kinks and go through all the tiring hoops, our new building will be complete within nine months of the starting date. So sometime next July. These are the pictures I took...naturally they are of Micah and some of the kids I take care of.

Micah is standing next to Wyatt...he is one of my favorite boys in the preschool.

The Golden shovels used to break the ground...how fun.

Micah loves playing outside, so I thought I'd take advantage of his curiosity. I got a lot of really cute pictures...I load them later. But here is a small taste.
We were all pirates this year. What a blast!
Nothing better than fall leaves on the ground. This was taken at my parents house in Frederick.
