More San Francisco Photos
We had a great time traveling through the city to the different "tourist" spots. We went on a boat ride out and around the the Golden Gate Bridge, it was a perfect day for pictures. It was a bit windy, so I took Micah inside and watched him run around-he's got some pretty good sea legs, he wasn't bumping into anything! We also saw Alcatraz on our way back to shore, didn't bother with a tour-maybe next time. We walked up to Coit Tower from Pier 39, a very long and gruesome walk for those of us that are obviously not in shape! We recommend just hiking up to see it, don't pay the $5 to ride the elevator to the top. You cant really do anything up there but take pictures of the city, and well you can get the same view on a postcard. We then went to the Pier 39 Aquarium where we saw Jelly Fish and Giant Fish and the other animals in a different part- Micah loved the Chinchilla. He was brave enough to touch the star fish, but only once, he didn't want anything more to do with it after that. And of course we rode the Trolley Car-it was so exciting and fun. Micah Jr really enjoyed flirting with the young foreign ladies that would stand by us.
More still too come...

Our Trip to San Francisco
We have been wanting to visit Micah's mission ever since he got back. We booked a trip last year but the hotel reservation was a mess. So we rescheduled and were finally able to make it out to California after the spring semester had concluded. We flew out on my birthday in the morning and had a wonderful 4 days in San Fran. Micah Jr was a fantastic traveler, he did very well in the Airport and most importantly on the plane!

Our first day there we made it down to Fisherman's Wharf and ate at Inn and Out-Micah had been waiting a very long time to taste the fantasticness that is Inn and Out. I would have to agree. We went to Pier 39 and saw the Sea Lions, they weren't as active the first day we went to see them but the next morning they were barking like crazy!
We saw a lot of street performers, our favorite however, would be the one man band-he was amazing.
We bought a city pass that allowed us 5 tickets to different attractions as well as transportation-Trolley Cars included! And a good thing, it is $5 a person per ride on that thing! It was fun. I think we paid for the city pass just by getting on the buses and Trolleys everyday.

Just for you Stacy
Micah was having a blast playing in the tub. He climbed in there on his own to explore. He also tracked his dirty shows all over the wet tub!
This is the Naughty Point. I made it and stuck it to the wall by the steps. So when ever Micah is throwing his fits he has to sit there for one minute. At first he would sit and cry for about 15 sec until we asked him if he was done, in which he would answer "Yeah." he then would come over to us and say sorry by giving us a kiss and hug. He would also walk there if told to. He kinda still puts himself there when we tell him too, however, he is becoming a little more of a toddler by telling us "No!" He now continues to throw his fit and if there is anything near him he will proceed to throw it off of the stairs and away from him-including the two stacks of encyclopedias that are waiting to go to Good Will. Video to come later.
Nana clipped a towel around Micah shoulders so he could be Superman. Surprisingly he kept it on for quite a while.
Our little Chocoholic- he loves any sort of candy he can get his hands on.
Micah and the first time he ever got really sick. He was sick for a whole week- we all got it. I, for the first time, was the one that got it first, followed by Micah and then Micah Jr. Since Micah was not working it worked out for the two to be sick at home together. He is seen here in his couch with his Lightning McQueen pillow and comforter watching what else but Cars!
Micah loved Baxter. ( I say loved because we no longer have him-but good news he was adopted within a week of us relinquishing him!) Most of all he loved to lay on him as seen here. We were very fortunate that Baxter was so accommodating.
Micah became very adventurous with the recent snow fall. He had a blast plowing through the freshly fallen snow without coaxing. He made many paths of his own with a smile on his face the whole time.
Easter with Micah. This is the first year that we have done eggs- I found some Q-tips that were filled with dye, so Micah was able to participate in coloring his own egg.
Micah loves to take a bath now. He will walk in to the bathroom point to the tub and ask " take a bath?" We finally were able to obtain toys that he can use in the tub-probably the reason he now loves it.
I hope you enjoyed out photo journey into the life and adventures of Micah Jr!
I will try to be better about posting. Micah and I are still in school with another 6 semesters to go (that includes the next 2 summers). Micah is doing really well, he finished his first semester with a 4.0 and I with a 3.5, Math isn't my forte. We have two more weeks of school and then one week of finals before we head of to San Francisco! We are ready for a much needed vacation!

A New Year and I'm already Behind!
I am amazed that the year is 2010 and that Micah Jr will soon be 2. The adage "Time flies when your having fun" is certainly true. Micah and I are both still in school. We are in our second semester at CU Denver. It has been challenging at times, but we always manage to get through it. Micah Jr is growing fast and is starting to express himself in a number of ways. I am very confident that once his sounds turn into more words we will get an ear full. I will post the pictures from the last three months soon and will strive to keep this blog updated. Thanks for dropping by!
