He Walks!

Tonight Micah took five consecutive steps. It was absolutely amazing. One he sat down we clapped and expressed our excitement. He sat there looking up at us with a huge grin. Yea! Pretty soon he'll be walking around everywhere! Pictures to come soon.

My handsome men! Oh how I love the men in my life. The bring so much joy and happiness daily into our home. What a pair these two are!

Micah Jr. has discovered how to pull out his dresser drawer along with his clothing. He had such a blast throwing everything around.

Computer Savvy

Micah Jr. is all about electronics. When ever we get out the laptop Micah is not far behind to come and play. Here are two videos--one when he doesn't get his way and the other when he does.

Very Exciting News!

Micah and I both have been accepted to CU Denver. Micah has been accepted into the dual degree program where he will work toward his MBA as well as a Masters in Accounting. He was very exdcited when he received his acceptance letter. About a week after Micah received his acceptance I received mine. I will be working toward a B.A. in English Literature. We both start in the Fall.

Lots of updates!

Micah Jr. was quite the Daddy's boy yesterday--which was a first, usually he is all about mom. He fell asleep while drinking his bottle in Micah's arms. Oh so cute!

Grant and Sarah picked up Micah Jr. on a day I was going to school and took him to the Butterfly Pavilion. From these pictures, it sure looks like they had a very fun time.

Grant is holding a tarantula. Micah was looking at it with him, but as soon as the camera came out it was all about the pose!

In here there were butterfly's flapping around. He was looking and talking at everything.

Micah figured out how to go out the sliding door onto the patio. He follows the dogs out and then plays with what ever he can find.

Here he is discovering the pretty flowers that grow on the side of the patio.

He thought it was pretty fun to rip them off. "Who me? I'm just playing with this wood."

Easter-- Micah Jr. celebrated his first easter with a new laptop! The polar bear eater basket that held his new things was the one he picked out. While shopping for one we gave him three different choices, a dog, turtle, and a robot that lights up. Each time he chose the polar bear, so polar bear it is. We "hid" the basket for him to crawl and find. He also got Mum Mum's (rice husk biscuits), a duck dressed as a bunny, and a canister of puffs.

Micah loves his laptop. We take it in the car with us where ever we go. He really likes the flashing lights and the music that comes when he presses the buttons. It also speaks to him and tells him what he is pushing.

8 months and crawlin

After weeks of pushing himself backwards, going from a sitting position to his hands and knees then to his stomach, and pushing up on his tippy toes, our little man has began to crawl. During the big storm we had a couple weeks ago I was granted work off and during this period of time Micah learned to move forward. Fortunately for Micah Sr. he was there watching all of it happen. He is everywhere now!



He is even pulling himself up and standing.


Now that he is mobile he likes to follow his friends at Take A Break around a play with them.



As soon as we can convert our videos we will post his crawling action!



Here he is getting into everything. He likes the Wii, the Stereo and the play station...looks like we might have to get something with doors!
