Update

I am 38 Weeks pregnant this week. I went in for my appointment today and have not progressed since my 36 week appointment- 1 cm Dilated and 40% Effaced.  Made me sad. This doesn't mean anything, a lot can happen in two weeks. I am farther progressed than I was ever with Micah but I was hoping that this time around I'd go on my own.  If it doesn't happen and I have to be induced I will be okay with that...the semester will be over and school work will be done.  This week was the most critical for Micah, but I still have two research papers to do, so maybe this is a good thing.  Well if my body decides to hold her hostage than I guess I shall just have to be induced so she will arrive on my birthday-I think that would be cool, mother and daughter sharing a birthday.

Belly pics yet to come.

Adventures in the last couple of weeks

This Tue I will be 37 weeks, I had my 36 week appointment last Wed and everything is looking great. I am 1 cm dilated and 40% effaced- which is a lot more progressed than I was with Micah. (1/2 cm dilated on the due date and 11 days after when induced) I am excited. I sure hope she'll come on time and on her own. Everyone says the second one is easier-so we shall see.

We've also got 3 more weeks in the semester-crunch time! I have 3 papers to write and two finish 3 labs and 3 quizzes. Keep your fingers crossed that we can finish everything we need to do before she arrives.

Here are some of the latest adventures in Micah Jr's life:

This is a Thomas Helipad Mega Block set that Nana Marty bought for him.  He loves to play with it frequently and usually plays so rough that he cause the tracks to come loose-which then its "Mommy fix it."
I put together the crib for Baby Mairead (Maw-raid - rhymes with parade), this way its all set for when shes ready for it and I don't have to do it later. But since I put it together...Micah Jr has been sleeping in it and through the night I might add:
Since we've been back at Nana Marty's Micah is enjoying every minute he can get out side in the back yard. He particularly likes to play in the dirt and with the rocks.

He also like to chase Gertrude (Marty's Pug) around, it brings him great satisfaction.

And that is the latest in our world. I'll be posting pics of the pregnant belly as soon as I am able. And hopefully soon Baby Mairead will make her debut.

Picture Update

I'm behind...here are some pics from Christmas up until now.

This car was given to Micah by his Grandma and Grandpa Anson- a you can see he loves to sit in it, on it, and just about anything else while watching a movie.

Zoo Day

As promised-and more punctual-here are the pictures from our Zoo trip yesterday with Callie and her son Drake.

We had a fun day-not as many pictures as in the past, but it started to get really windy. Our next Zoo trip will hopefully produce a lot more.

Changes...Sometimes He lets it rain

Well, I am no longer employed at Take-A-Break.  I am able to take an early maternity leave and make it a (hopefully) permanent one.  Due to the decrease in income we will be making our way back to Momma Marty's possibly by the end of March.  Aurora here we come! again.

School is going well, and now that I have time to do my homework (gasp) it will be even better.

I am now 30 weeks pregnant, wow-time has flown by.  Mairead (Maw-raid) will be here before we know it. I am grateful for the time to lay down now in the afternoon and take a nap-the last trimester exhausts me.

I also get to hang out more with my friend Callie-we went to the Zoo today-which was a blast-I will post pics later.

The Results Are In -- It's A Girl!

We weren't going to find out at first, but my impatience got the best of me. I am happy we found out because now we have some preparing to do for our little girl. I'm so excited to go shopping for little girl clothing, hunt for names, and enjoy the wonders of being pregnant (most days).

We had the ultra sound last night, everything looks great. Here are the promised pics:

Feeling Movement

It is always nice once the nausea stops to feel the baby move.  Without symptoms it always makes me anxious for the next doctors appointment.  Tonight I have been feeling the baby move-swim is more like it-and it feels wonderful.
